Medication Take Back Day Slated for April 28
Event on April 28, 2018
The Oklahoma Center for Poison & Drug Information is a proud sponsor of National Medication Take Back Day. Unintentional poisonings happen in a matter of seconds and often come in innocent and unexpected forms. More than 90% of all poisonings occur in the home, and medications can prove deadly if left within reach of children.
National Medication Take Back Day is a free medication disposal event slated for Saturday, April 28, from 10 am to 2 pm. Oklahoma City locations include:
Homeland at 9225 N. May Ave
Homeland at 1108 NW 18th
Cash Saver at 4129 SW 29th, Del City
Just clean out your medicine cabinet, then drive up and drop off old or unwanted medications. It is simple and completely free. Oklahoma Bureau of Narcotics officers will take the collected medications for safe and proper disposal. No liquids, inhalers or syringes will be accepted.
Please contact us at 405-271-5062 if you have any questions, or if you would like additional flyers.
