The Oklahoma Poison Control Center exists to provide information concerning the prevention and management of potential toxic exposures to the people of Oklahoma. The center’s goal is to save lives as well as to provide cost-effective service to patients and Oklahoman’s by promoting the appropriate use of health care resources.

The Oklahoma Poison Control Center is a free, confidential resource that is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year, and can communicate with callers in more than 150 languages. We are staffed by pharmacists, doctors and nurses who are national certified as Specialists in Poison Information.
